About the event
- Taste the Philippines: An innovative Culinary Journey by Chef John Buenaventura. The Story: Filipino cuisine is at an early stage of showcasing it in the Global Market. There has been a strong push from the recent years from different parts of the world to highlight this, however, there is still a lot of work to be done in terms of awareness, knowledge and information. Chef John's goal is to help this movement. Having been exposed in an international culinary scene for a long time, he has spent years perfecting cooking methods and techniques from various chefs of different nationalities and colleagues from different parts of the world. After all these years of hard work, sacrifices and innovation, Chef John has realized it is time to “go back home.” It would be an honor for Chef John to take you on a personal journey in his interpretation of food going back to his roots combining it with global experience and invite you to “Taste the Philippines.”
