He is an independent culinary consultant, assisting restaurants with filipino cuisine menus. He worked as an Executive Chef at Elite MC Group Abu Dhabi for seven years.

Chef Andrew Paderes is known to have great kitchen leadership and an unorthodox way of training and mentoring his brigade. Unlike other chefs, his calm demeanor is what his staff and people in the industry admires about him. 

A graduate of BS Hotel and Restaurant Management at University of Sto. Tomas Manila, Philippines. He started as a line cook and gained culinary strength from different stints in the Philippines - became a culinary instructor (UST) before he pursued bigger experiences abroad where he acquired extensive culinary background and Michelin star experience like in MAZE by Gordon Ramsay and NOBU in London.
Equipped with his extensive experiences and his passion for continuous learning and with a good eye on detail, he became unstoppable.

Being in the UAE for 9 years he has opened and became a consultant of big successful restaurant brands. He has received numerous multimedia accolades and Industry nominations and awards. 
For several years, He was the only Filipino featured in the annual foodie event Taste of Dubai.  Currently, He is the Group Executive Chef of Stars N’ Bars. (La Mer in Jumeirah and Yas Marina AUH)
He has brought a different take on the usual American cuisine. He has injected his
personal touch and twists on his menu from various culinary influences.

The man behind the grandiose cake for the 121st celebration of the Philippine Independence is an experienced Executive Pastry Chef at LIFCO Group with a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry. A professional with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management focused in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management from the University of the Philippines and an active member of the Emirates Culinary Guild and UAE Volunteer.
